charmaine & heath :: wedding stationery

Today we are excited to show you a gorgeous wedding stationery suite we recently completed for Charmaine & Heath. With their storybook literature wedding theme, we simply adore their beautifully stunning, yet classically simple invitations. Featuring vintage decorative initial caps, classic typography and fabulous use of white space, these letterpress invitations have an amazing textural feel.

Thanks Charmaine & Heath - it was such a joy to design and print these for you!

on the mixing table

Did you have a lovely weekend my sweets?

We spent our days being busy little bees in the studio. We had a lovely time mixing the most beautiful shade of deep midnight blue - I ended up with it in my hair and ingrained into my fingers and up my hands. So next time you shake my hand don't look at me funny okay? I'll be blue for a while.

New print in store!

We are very excited to let you know that we have finally launched a new print in our online store! It is our ode to love - the super sweet romantic kind that makes your heart a flutter, makes you feel all warm and cosy and makes you just a tad wobbly at the knees.

We have recently had this "love you the longest of time" print available at our market events. It is a limited edition run of 50 prints, and as it has been flying off our market table - we only have 10 prints left to sell via our online stall!

Quickly quickly, they are $45 each and are available here.

the art of inviting

The task of inviting your guests to your wedding is such a lovely one, however the task of letting them know that you want a monetary gift is a tricky one. But around here we feel that should you ask them on a gorgeous piece of cotton letterpress stock (printed in such pretty colours) it makes the tricky bit, just that much more lovely.

kinga & nigel :: wedding stationery

Have a wonderful weekend my sweets - the sun is back out here shining in Brisbane so its time for a doggie walk along the beach, a cup of tea in the sun and a tad of baking in the kitchen.

Before we head off, we wanted to show you a very sweet invitation we recently completed for Kinga & Nigel - it had the most amazing tactile feel with a very light ivory illustration - just lovely!

See you again next week lovelies.

blanket magazine

We would like to give a very big thank you to the online Blanket Magazine who have featured us in their "Gone but not forgotten" issue. Our most in-depth interview yet, we talk about our journey from the corporate design world, to a world where we have permanent ink under our fingernails, eternally sore muscles and the long and slow journey to learn letterpress and our love for this artform. You can also meet Bob who has been our letterpress mentor over all these years - we would have been so lost without him.

Do make sure you head on over and check it out!

meet maggie

There is no denying it, we are a little hound crazy around here. Dogs of all kinds are always most welcome to come sniff our inks, lay in the sunny corner and hang out in the studio any day.

Little Maggie Noodle (its really Moodle, but we are quite taken with Noodle) would make a wonderful and polite studio guest. Maybe she and her big brother Harvey will come visit their Auntie and Uncle one day.

Isn't she just the cutest little muffin?

thankyou swing tags

Sweet little letterpressed thankyou swing tags we recently completed. Too cute don't you think?
