featured wedding :: megan & kristian

Totally we have a very wonderful treat for you. The stunning Megan married her beau Kristian in a dashing 1950's era inspired South Australian wedding in November this year and we are tickled pink to get to share some of the images of their day.

(You might remember their stunning invitations that Megan designed and we printed in coral and a blind impression earlier this year.)

Megan's gorgeous gown was custom designed by POP bridal couture using bone silk and detailed beading. She wore her Grandmothers wedding necklace, worn by her grandmother in 1955, and complimented with a beaded and fine feather fascinator designed by Hats by Jayne.

The couple were married at Rostrevor Chapel, with reception followed at John Difede Reception Centre. The stunning post ceremony shots were taken at the BoHo Hotel, followed by a stroll along the River Torrens in Adelaide.

We adore that Megan's Mum, Auntie and Grandmother all chipped in to make the families traditional lemon and almond tart which has been passed down from one generation to the next, and as wedding favours the grooms father's gifted his 2005 Merlot produced in the Adelaide Hills.

Their photographer was Angie Doughty-Garside from Mink Studio and you can see more images from this amazing wedding here.

We wish Megan and Kristian a beautifully happy, lovely and joy filled marriage together. It was such a pleasure to work with you both and we thank you for sharing your wedding day with us!

We thank Mink Studios for the use of their images on our blog and respectfully ask that if you wish to reblog this gorgeous wedding that you seek permission.
