Sometime opportunities arise that a too hard to pass up so the studio will be shut for the next few days. We will be back in the studio next Monday, and looking forward to sharing lots more love from the letterpress studio then.

We love these gorgeous save the date cards fresh off the press for Laura & Tim. A fusion between vintage and modern, printed in a classic crisp black ink on our white cotton stocks. Teamed up with cotton envelopes with a pinstripe lining. Just beautiful... even if we do say so ourselves!

karina & stephen wedding stationery

We've been meaning to show you this gorgeous wedding set for a few weeks now! Karina & Stephen are having a gorgeous classic and elegant wedding at the Sunshine Coasts Ebb Waterfront Restaurant with its beautiful waterfront location and contemporary styling. We designed the tree motif as a symbol of growth and longevity - and also because the bride has a love of beautiful trees (as do we)! Printed as a one colour Navy ink on our ivory 100% cotton rag paper we love the beautiful simplicity of this invitation suite, and the stunning printed impression of all that beautiful typography. Just lovely!

sarah & stephen wedding stationery

Yesterday we posted off Sarah & Stephens wedding stationery for their September wedding at the gorgeous Peppers Blue on Blue Resort at Magnetic island. Their brief for their stationery was for something clean and classic and to steer clear of any typical island styling.

Inspired by their wedding plans we developed an art deco inspired illustration which was printed in a subtle and gentle deep ivory ink on our ivory cotton stocks. Coupled with very clean and elegant typography printed in a dark charcoal, these invitations elude a classic and beautiful feel, yet still have a very small element of relaxed beachside for their beautiful island wedding.

Thankyou Sarah & Stephen, it was a joy to work with you, and we are sure you guests will love your invitations just as much as we do!

remembering

Searching through some photos today, I stumbled across this image which I forgotten how much I loved. Taken in Dubrovnik, Croatia September 2008 we were suffering jet lag at 2am in the morning. So we roamed the streets, took some photos, just us and a few friendly cats and a dog or two. Such a beautiful memory, and one I would love to live over and over again. laura & murray order of service booklets

This weekend one of our sweetest wedding couples are tying the knot. We have just recently finished their very sweet order of service booklets featuring a letterpressed outer cover on our 100% cotton ivory stock, digitally printed inserts, all bound together with a stitched spine.

We wish them a beautiful day this coming weekend of perfect weather, lots of love and memories made to last a lifetime.

We met all sorts of wonderful people at the Sydney Finders Keepers, one being the lovely Jillian Leiboff who popped in, took some amazing photos and disappeared back into the throb of happy shoppers.

We were captivated when Jillian emailed us through her shots - how she managed to get such wonderful and amazing photos amongst the four row deep of shoppers amazes us! We wish we had found more time to stop and chat and get to know each other a little better.

Please do make sure you stop by and visit Jillian's blog - I have spent the last 2 hours getting lost with her gorgeous imagery and simple classic styling - not too mention the array of delicious sweet treats! It is the sort of simple beautiful photography that stirs all kinds of emotions and makes me want to cry (of happiness and loveliness and of the natural beauty of things) just a little bit.
