Sometimes life here in the studio gets so hectic we forget to eat lunch, most definitely forget breakfast and certainly don't remember dinner until most people are tucked up in bed. We forget to clean up and studio and find we end up covered in ink from our own messiness. We forget to walk little miss Ruby Tuesday and she doesn't like us much then. We forget to finish work and find ourselves still here at 11pm. We forget to call our Mums and say hello, love you and all that hoorah. And finally we forget to visit you sweet friends and say hello. Lets hope we don't forget how to print. Goodness - we would run out of things to forget about then....

Ruby Tuesdays new best friend came for a play date on Saturday afternoon - a walk to the beach, a coffee stop, a bite to eat, and a frolic around the back yard. We hope that little Arnold will be back for many more visits to the studio, we have a comfy corner all set up for him next time he comes for a play!

Todays wedding set is a gorgeous stationery suite we designed for Kristy & Justin who are having a Port Douglas wedding in August this year. Steering away from any tropical and typical designs we wanted to create something which was bold and striking (after all, Justin is a rockstar) yet something that was still elegant and sophisticated all at the same time!
We printed a blind impressed background into our 100% cotton ivory stock to create a highly textural card. Printed over the top in a nice heavy black ink we printed invitations, information cards, maps and reply postcards all housed within our ivory cotton envelopes.
Such a wonderful and fun couple to work with - Thanks Kristy & Justin, you guys rock!!

Today we wanted to share with you a recent wedding invitation suite for the lovely Annie and her husband to be Kerrin. With a wedding theme featuring peacock colourings and a few touches of peacock feathers here and their we designed a highly textural invitation which was printed on our 100% cotton stock in an ivory colour. Printed in a gorgeous teal blue to match the bridesmaids gowns we coupled this with a beautiful copper ink, and teamed it all up with our matching cotton envelopes - Just lovely!

Here at Bespoke, we occasionally get requests to print letterpress stationery for other graphic designers. Designing for letterpress can be tricky, but we love seeing other designers develop their ideas into something that will look and feel amazing when printed.
The lovely Megan is one talented designer who is marrying Kristian in November this year. When Megan sent us her initial concepts we were smitten with her design - the beautiful and classic typography, delicate blind impressed pattern and choice of a beautiful coral ink colour - An amazing combination that was simply perfect for letterpress.
Thanks Megan - it was such a joy to print your work. We hope your guests love them just as much as we do!

We all know that Ruby Tuesday is beautiful, but it seems she has recently just discovered it herself. Sitting here in the studio office next to me, she always sits with her back to me and admirers herself in the mirror propped against the studio wall.
I think she might have fallen in love with the dog inside the mirror.
